Buttpad Installation

Our "Buttpad Sizing Chart" page has suggested sizes for stock seats.

If your motorcycle is not listed, or if you have an aftermarket seat, please contact us so we can work something out together for you and your bike!

Please keep in mind that measurements are flat- when sitting on the seat, the foam dishes down and creates a larger surface area. Having a Buttpad that is a little too big is better than having one too small. Buttpads are not meant to cover the sides of your seat. They are only surface pads.

Installation

Installing a Buttpad on your bike is quick and easy. This simple guide below will assist you if you happen to need a little help...

Step 1: Remove or raise your seat. Detailed instructions are in your bike's owner's manual.

Step 2: Install the Buttpad with the elastic strap attached, placing the strap at the widest part of your seat.

Step 3: Adjust tension by pulling on the tabs so the pad doesn't slide around.

Step 4: Reinstall your motorcycle seat and go for a ride!

Here are a couple of tips:

  • If you have a Softail, put the strap behind the seat tabs

  • If you have an Ultra or other bike with rear crash bars, just wrap around the bars and across the seat

  • If your pad has a nose strap, just slip it over the leading edge of your seat.
